Media & Entertainment Language Support

Nexidia supports a large number of languages for media and entertainment applications. Language support is separated into two distinct technologies—the first technology for Dialogue Search and Nexidia Illuminate's caption verification and alignment features, and the second for support of Nexidia Illuminate's languages verification feature.  Additional languages are regularly added, and Nexidia frequently partners with customers to develop additional language support. Developing New Language Support 

In order to support new languages, Nexidia requires a body of media in that language.  The body of media should include a variety of speakers and should include multiple genres of content.  The creation of a new language for Dialogue Search or Nexidia Illuminate's caption verification and alignment features also requires captions, subtitles, or time coded transcripts of the training content, and support of new languages can generally be completed in less than three months from the time a suitable set of media is received.  Transcripts are not required for language identification, and new languages can generally be added within a month of receipt of content.
